Spring Break 2017

Aloha!

We are just days away now from Spring Break 2018 so I thought I would pass the time by sharing some of my favorite moments from Spring Break 2017! We spent a week in Maui and loved every second. After a long winter in the Northwest, that Hawaiian sunshine felt like HEAVEN! We spent most of the week in the pool or at the beach. Emi turned 5 on this trip and after a brief trip to the walk-in clinic for double ear infections (eek!), she rallied and we celebrated that night with dinner at Cheeseburger in Paradise. We enjoyed snorkeling, swimming, eating, shopping in Lahaina, shave ice, watching the sunsets, and just being together with no agenda! We missed our big girls as they spent the week with their dad in Chicago, but made special memories as a family of three for the week. Take me back!

Newport Beach + Universal Studios

After 4 days in the theme parks, it was wonderful to slow down a little. We spent the day exploring Newport Beach and Balboa Island - lots of walking, beach time, and of course ice cream at Dads!
